Sliding door maintenance / Entretien de porte coulissante

Is there a recommended reglar maintenance routine for the doors? My car will not have a service for two years, but I'm not sure if the doors will be serviced anyway.

Are there any grease points / locations, and should should the rails be cleaned in a ceratain way?

It seems most people have had problems with their doors - if there are any precautionary things I can do, I would like to do them.

Est-ce qu'il y a devrait points/endroits de graisse, et devrait les rails être nettoyé d'une manière de ceratain ?
Il semble que la plupart des personnes ont eu des problèmes avec leurs portes - s'il y a des choses de précaution que je peux faire, je voudrais les faire.

There are two basic doors maintenance : the contacts (those 12-15 nails on the forward of the door, they must be cleaned, also the contact points in the opening) and the rails (you must grease the inside of the rails, maybe once every 2 or 3 months).

Maybe. But if the rail runs out of grease, the electric motor will have to do a harder job to open/close the door, that could affect the engine in the long term and make doors opening errors in the short term.

In fact, they told me that exactly when I was in service with my doors not fonctionning correctly.

The doors don't need to have a big maintenance, only clean up the rail with soap and water

The grease will go little by little with every wash, especially if there is high pressure wash. I know it's not recommended but many people does it.

Moreover, in the long term, the existent grease will soon or later be full of dust, so it must be renewed.

When a watertightness have no grease, he is dead and you have to change it... It 's impossible to add new grease beacause a watertightness bearing is crimp

The construction of our doors rails is very simple, there isn't any watertightness protection.

Je dis que (je crois que) les roulements qui guide la porte sont étanches!
Et comme tout roulement étanche, aucune graisse ne peut en sortir et aucune eau ne peut y rentrer (a part sous haute pressin direction dirigée ou immertion)!
Donc ils ne nécessite aucun ententien et si un jour ils sont mort, tu ne pourras pas les graisser car ils spont étanches...

En revanche, si je me plante et qu'ils ne sont pas étanches, ils faudra en effet peut etre un jour les regraisser, mais uniquement le roulement et surtout pas le rail...
Mais la zone est suffisament bien protègée et je pense que peu de nuisible pourra penetre pour détériorer les roulements des portes...

I am shocked, but Gesan is right : even for the "roulette" don't use grease. Grease and Nylon does'nt fit together for instance. I don't the material of the parts, but be very carefull.
